House No.9
No.9 is an eclectic House which encourages excellence whether in Academics, Sport, Music, Drama or Art. Boys of diverse talents will have their individual strengths celebrated. Paul Wickes joined the College in 2006 to teach Economics and Politics, and has been Housemaster of No.9 since 2007. Paul says, “We run our House as an extended family, and the boys have a very strong House spirit. In No.9, we aim to produce polite, confident, well-rounded young men who aspire to fulfil their potential.”
Paul speaks Portuguese and Spanish and is an enthusiastic supporter of school Sport, particularly Rugby, Football, Cricket and Hockey. He and his wife Michelle have two young daughters, Savannah and Amelie.

Congratulations to Hani El-Bay from No.9, who has been awarded a commendation for his hard work and great performance in Taylor Trophy Debating Final.
Mr Hutsby, master i/c the Malvern team, described Hani as "a great debater and a credit to the College".
Indeed, although he is still in the Hundred, Hani has just been appointed President of Debating at Malvern, meaning he is now in charge of school teams and external
competitions, and keeping a general overview on debating at the College.
Vice President (Senior) is Anna Kempe from No.3, and she is in charge of Senior inter-House debating and training.
