Red Carpet Supper

The latest of No.8's famous Birthday suppers, centered around the theme of 'Hollywood glamour'.
Guests were greeted by a red carpet and had their photos taken upon arrival like real celebrities! Even Spiderman managed to swing by, having heard the party was so good! The private side was transformed in to a glittering venue where we were treated to a three course formal meal followed by the traditional pass the parcel and a rather lively game of Charades.
A truly wonderful evening was had by all.

Rhian Grundy is Housemistress of the warm, friendly and spacious No.8. A natural self-starter, Rhian came to the role of Housemistress after founding and running her own company for ten years. She is a piano and music teacher and a keen runner of 10kms and half-marathons.
Rhian is married to Adrian, an ex-investment banker, who is Malvern’s Head of University Admissions and Global Initiatives, as well a teacher of Economics and Business Studies. They have one daughter, Clementine, who is three. Together with their wonderful House Assistants, the Grundys continue the House tradition of hosting regular social events for the girls and this helps to foster a very positive House spirit.
No.8 is a welcoming place, providing a nurturing, positive and secure home environment where happy and well-rounded young ladies can flourish both personally and academically. No.8 girls have a strong sense of self, and embrace the breadth of opportunities that Malvern offers.
